You are familiar with the term “marketing”. When a salesperson advertises their product, when a travel agency advertises their tours, and when a pizza restaurant advertises its opening in your home, you know you are dealing with “marketing”. In such cases, your gaze becomes critical and you do not easily believe the advertisements and, as the famous saying goes, you say to yourself: “No grocer says my yogurt is sour!”
But sometimes we are dealing with people who are not supposed to sell us anything. It looks like we’re getting free goods, so we think we don’t need to be critical. This scenario is the meaning of “hidden marketing”. You are sitting at the TV and watching a story series without paying. The appearance of the story is that you are just having fun, however your brain is learning. The media that shows you the series is “programming your mind.” Seemingly, a product is not advertised and you do not pay, but the fact is that many unknown products are advertised for you so in the future, without knowing why, you will pay a lot of money to buy these products!
When you interact with the hero of a movie, you like his car for no logical reason, and in the future you are willing to go into debt to buy a car like that; Without even remembering which movie impressed you the moment you bought that car!
You are watching TV news and you do not think that most of the information you receive is not “awareness”, but in fact “advertising”. They seem to tell you a statistic and tell you that it is the result of a “survey”, while the reality is that what you are hearing is “Creating a custom poll result” rather than a “survey”. Since man is a social being, he has a strong ability to be “indoctrinated” and “imitated.” It is enough to believe that most people think so, you will think the same!
Social psychology research has shown that some people are so influenced by indoctrination that even when most people doubt what they have seen, contrary to what they say “with their own eyes”!! We live in a strange world. Contrary to many people’s beliefs,, the most honest people are the ones who officially tell you what they are going to sell you and what they are asking for. Most of the people who seem to be giving you free stuff are doing “hidden marketing”. They will charge you several times the price of your product one day without knowing why and to whom, how much you paid.
“When whites came to our land, we had farms and mine, and they were holding the Bible,” says one African poet. They taught us to close our eyes and pray. “When we opened our eyes, the Bible was in our hands, but they owned our farm and mine!”
Keep your eyes open, even when praying!
